It’s a marathon not a sprint….

A bit of housekeeping before we start. The transfer window will open at midnight on Monday October 12th and close at midnight on the 19th. Three bids are allowable.

FC Roodenblauw opened up a 25 point lead at the top of the SFA after three weeks but elsewhere a low scoring week saw teams jostling for the minor placings.

Top notchers this week were Big Els FC who smashed a Grealish and Lacazette fired 34 points (mind you, with half decent finishing Laca could have had a hat-trick). Big Fat Kante also picked up 33 fuelled by Jarrod Bowen’s surprise brace for Wet Spam.

Barrel scrapers of the week were Minus One X1 with a paltry 13.

A pitchside reporter at Free Lionel Messi’s stadium this week caught manager Callum Davis in not the best of moods after the game. When it was pointed out to Davis that his back four had collected a grand total of one point so far this season, Davis shot back “Listen pal, how many teams in this league have got Lionel Messi on the bench? He can’t get in our side and neither can Callum Hudson-Odoi (oops!).”

Ezely Bottom’s Jamie Vardy scored 81% of their points this week, whereas star defenders Boly and White both scored minus 5%!

The Ezely Bottom board meetings are getting increasingly tense
